Transcribing Yann Tiersen’s pieces, for the most part, isn’t so bad. Usually they are solo songs: on piano or accordion. However, the MAJORITY of Tiersen’s music is multi-instrumental masterpieces! Something noone has done (yet?) on YouTube is do full multi-instrumental covers of Tiersen’s music (at least I haven’t seen any yet). This has been one of my goals for a long time, since I know I can learn all the different pieces on the different instruments. However, the BIGGEST problem is figuring each of those individual parts out haha! Have to listen REALLLLLLY closely and try and focus on each part, and then figure out the notes from there! This piece was fairly easy to transcribe, but some of the other ones I’m working on – not so much!
